About Reality Check Services

Reality Check Services was founded on the basic premise of providing services to assist youth in achieving success.  Research suggests that parents and other significant adult figures are a child’s primary role models.  Therefore, we offer support to adults in their role modeling by providing Parent Coaching to assist in child rearing techniques.  In addition, we provide Medication Education to professionals and parents who work with the medicated adolescent; individual Mentoring to ease troubled youth toward a positive transition into adulthood; and Speaker Presentations related to at-risk youth to professionals, parents, and youth in a variety of settings.

About the Founder

Our founder, Jesse Tucker, was a troubled youth, coming from a past of juvenile delinquency.  His background allows him to utilize the phrase “it takes one to know one” in a unique dynamic that provides valuable insight and guidance.  After obtaining his nursing degree, he now practices in the behavioral health field, where he regularly evaluates youth and advises their families in managing difficult behaviors. 

Additionally, on a daily basis he meets with physicians, parents, and youth to discuss the effects and reasons for prescribing specific medications.  For almost a decade he has volunteered with numerous organizations and non-profit agencies as a speaker, utilizing his personal background and professional expertise in his own unique, engaging style.
